Laury lives in Ann Arbor with his wife Jessica, a Professor Emerita of Dance at the University of Michigan. The couple have an adult daughter, Annabel, who lives in Seattle. Laury and Jessica enjoy traveling to international art museums and historic places as well as serving their local community whenever possible. Laury's other hobbies include cycling and weight training, and he's successfully completed three Chicago Marathons.
