 Matthew J. Liston began his career with Edward Jones in 2016 after working for years as an engineer in the automobile industry. He left so he could apply his problem-solving skills to helping individuals, families, and small business owners plan their financial future. He can take complex concepts and break them down so clients can understand and be assured that they are getting the financial advice that is right for them.

Matt affiliated with Michigan Financial Companies in October of 2018 where he is a financial advisor and Lawrence J. Stack's legacy.

He is very active in his community of Royal Oak. He is on the St. Mary’s Catholic School Athletic Board, as well as coaches his daughter’s t-ball and soccer teams. He has volunteered and raised money for various non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Common Ground.

Personal Data

Matt married his wife, Becky, in 2016 and they have a daughter, Maya. They like to go to as many Tigers, Red Wings, and Wolverines games as they can. When they’re not watching sports, you can usually find them on the softball field, golf course, or taking their Boston Terrier, Paisley, for a family run.

Lawrence J. Stack began his career in the financial services industry in 1982. Since then, he has become a “Life and Qualifying” member of the industry’s prestigious Million Dollar Round Table every year since 1993 and qualifying for “Court of the Table” twelve times.1 Over the years he has received numerous “Associate of the Year2” and “President’s Council3” awards.

Larry affiliated with Michigan Financial Companies in 2000 where he serves as Vice President of Financial Planning.In 2003, Larry was awarded the “E.H. Meyers” award by the Detroit Chapter of NAIFA for “Outstanding Service to the Life Insurance Industry” and in 20054, the “M.E. Muilenberg” award by NAIFA-Michigan for “Dedicated Leadership and Service” in the Financial Services Industry.5” He served as the President of NAIFA-Detroit in 1998-99 and State President of NAIFA in 2002-03.
